Started in 1981 by co-host Mike Plaskett and the late Ken Crawford, Rhythm Sweet & Hot is a musical variety program that entertains audiences by capturing the essence of musical culture from the 1920s to the 1940s. Listeners hear the well-known, big names of swing but are also able to discover the music of artists whose records "can't be found at the local mall.” In October of 2015, Rhythm Sweet & Hot was honored by the Pennsylvania state legislature with “Rhythm Sweet & Hot Day”.
